Spring is coming — if it ever stops snowing

P1240279.JPGOutside The Nuthatch, our first blossom of spring opened this morning — just in time for an afternoon snowfall that dusted Center Island. The temperature dropped from 40 degrees F. at noon to 33 by 3 p.m. Good grief. (Note to self: Never trust a groundhog.)

  2. Hopefully you’ve seen the meme traveling through social media of a groundhog standing at a microphone on his hind legs singing, “I ain’t nothin’ but a groundhog, lying all the time. . .”

  3. Today was under 60 degrees F as a high. It is the last day projected for that in the next ten days in Jerusalem. I believe, we have just shifted high gear into Spring, with highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s. My view of heaven.
